Jared A. Sorensen
 is a writer and game designer based in New York City. He’s currently the VP of Games and part of the product design team for plyfe.me, a website specializing in social engagement and amplification.

He’s taught game design at NYC public schools, attended GenCon and other conventions as a Guest of Honor, given talks on game design and independent publishing in the United States and abroad and contributed games and essays to several websites and ‘zines including RPG.net, Flames Rising, and Daedalus.

Memento Mori Theatricks (MMT), was formed in 1997 to publish free gaming material on the web. Now, MMT is involved in commercial print and web publishing, as well as a design studio specializing in freelance writing for both traditional RPGs and computer/console games. In 2010, Jared joined forces with friend and colleague Luke Crane to start a new endeavor: Sorensen/Crane.
