Ladies and Gents,
My Parsely events schedule for PAX East April 6-8:
Saturday 10-11am: SPOOKY MANOR
Sunday 2-3pm: JUNGLE ADVENTURE
Sunday 4-5pm: Z-WARD
I’ll also be demoing games with the Burning Wheel crew. So stop by, say hello and don’t forget your lamp.
Hey cats.
Just added Z-Ward and Z-Ward-X to the online store, as well as the skully patch (available for a limited time only!).
Happy New Year and see you at PAX-EAST April (and possibly at MAGfest in January).
- Jared
I’m offering a Skully t-shirt to all $50+ pledge backers once I reach my new stretch goal of $5000.
Check it out here!
Help Kickstart Z-Ward here.
I’m kinda floored. Less than a day into the kickstarter for Z-Ward and I’ve raised 50% of my goal. I’m already thinking of writing another Parsely game during the winter months. Maybe a micro-green for the holiday season? Anyway, thanks to everyone for their support!

After many, many requests, I decided to make Lacuna Part I. (second attempt) available at RPGnow.com.
And as an aside to those that would like this particular information to “be free” —
I’d like to remind you that I made this thing and I rely on sales to, you know, pay rent and eat. For reals. This is my job. So if you happen across a pirated copy or opt to torrent the game for a little look-see, please PayPal me (jared at memento-mori.com) a donation and I’ll dedicate my next cup of coffee to you. I appreciate it.
The lovely and talented Jen of Jennisodes wanted to interview me for some reason.
Listen to it here!
The French edition includes :
• A new, blue cover design that makes it something of a collector’s item
• Brand new artwork commissioned especially for the French edition, and more pictures than the original
The publishers are also offering some exclusive goodies:
• Your name into the book (until october 10th only)
• Lacuna badges
• An A3-sized poster
• A large vinyl banner
• Your photo in the book (as a Mystery Agent)
Cool, I hope I get some of these!
Rob and Daryl were kind enough to interview me on the Beard Swarm! Podcast. Check it out!
Nick Wedig posted this astounding character sheet for InSpace.
Makes me realize that most InSpectres mini-supplements could be based around a totally sweet revamped character sheet (just like the basic game is, more or less).
